Explore Capitol Reef at Notom Ranch
Notom Ranch is located on the doorstep of Capitol Reef National Park and neighbors, the Henry Mountains, Thousand Lake Mountain and Lake Powell. Each day guests will explore the red rock canyons of Capitol Reef National Park and discover the beautiful areas surrounding Notom. Guests will be staying at the new Notom Ranch Bed & Breakfast. The Bed & Breakfast’s themed rooms are equipped with king sized beds and large Jacuzzi bathtubs. Breakfast and Dinner will be provided at the bed & breakfast, or you can drive 15 miles through beautiful Capitol Reef to Torrey for dinner, the option is yours. Beautiful Fishlake Basin
The Fishlake National Forest is home to a number of pristine mountain valleys that are surrounded by tall mountains, tree, lakes, meadows, and streams. This horse riding adventure will explore a number of these valley and guests will visit the high mountain meadows and other beautiful areas. Wildlife is abundant and the Fishlake basin area is home to a very large herd of elk. We highly recommend this trip for anyone looking to escape to the mountains! We will be camping at the Tasha Equestrian Center on the Northern shores of Fish Lake. The Center has horse corrals and pasture along with individual camping areas. Torrey is a land of red rock canyons and brimstone along with majestic mountains full of Ponderosa’s, quaking aspen trees, and a variety of evergreens. Torrey is San Francisco Magazine’s #5 place to visit. On this adventure guests will explore a variety of scenic areas in what is sometimes called the land of the sleeping rainbow. The trails vary from red rock canyon rides to high mountain adventures that leave you looking down on the beauty of the area. If you are looking for color and diversity this is the ride for you! Guests will be responsible for their own accomodations. Lunches will be provided on the trail. Make sure you bring your sun block, and camera for the journey through this wonderful area. For guest interested in herding cattle in a relaxing atmosphere, Blind Bridle Outfitters offers the Ride The Range adventure. This horse riding adventure will explore the beautiful areas of the Fishlake or Henry Mountains where Blind Bridle Cattle range during the summer. Guests will be riding through the cattle to assess range conditions, check for strays, look for sickness, and to monitor fences & watering holes. Charter Tours
Charter trips are designed for groups looking for a private tour of the area. The trip will be limited to only those who sign up with your group. You will be able to choose what areas you would like to visit in the Blind Bridle Outfitters area. It is important that you book charter tours in advance to insure your trip date. A charter trip must be at least 3-5 night, and that includes the Sunday night hotel stay. Pricing on charter trips depend on the number of people in your group and the duration of the trip.
