The original Blind Bridle Outfit was an organized group of cattlemen that ran cattle during the winter months in the deserts surrounding the Henry Mountains, Escalante Staircase, Lake Powell, and Capitol Reef National Park. Bryan Brinkerhoff, Blind Bridle Outfitters manager, is the great grandson of one of the original members of Blind Bridle Outfit. Blind Bridle Outfitters wanted to make it possible for the public to come and enjoy, by horseback, some of the most remote and beautiful country in the west. Blind Bridle Outfitters specialize in the history, scenery, and environmental aspects of the land. We feel that this is best accomplished by hosting small groups that provide personalized discussions about the land, history, wildlife, plants and distinctive geographical locations and monuments. We hope you will join us in discovering the history and beauty of this great area.
